Our firm prides itself in being a "Virtual Firm". By providing clients with an easy to use tax organizer and secure online portal, our clients can put together the information necessary for us to accurately prepare their return and then send us any necessary supporting documents.
Our firm has an Enrolled Agent ("EA") on staff, who also holds a Bachelors Degree in Accounting as well as a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Florida International University.
What is an Enrolled Agent?
Enrolled Agents are tax experts. EAs are the only tax professionals who are licensed at the federal level who specialize in all things tax.
"Enrolled" means the professional is licensed to practice by the federal government.
"Agent" means the professional is authorized to appear/act on behalf of the taxpayer before the IRS.
The only other professionals with unlimited rights to practice before the IRS are attorneys and CPA's. However, only EAs must show competency in all areas of tax (including preparation, client representation, and ethical behavior), before being given unlimited rights to represent taxpayers before the IRS.
